ONE-ON-ONE HOME SESSIONS AND BOARD & TRAIN

One-on-one home session

We work to alleviate problems owners are having with their dogs .

We meet with clients at their homes in order to accurately assess the behavioral issues in the home that often times become issues outside of the home.

Each session is allotted for one to two  hours, depending on the severity and need of both the dog and their owner.  Each session is individualized to meet the needs of your dog and will be conducted as long as it takes the dog and their owners to achieve balance, ask questions, and put their new techniques into practice.

In the One on One sessions, I will address basic commands on-leash….

  • Sit, Down, Place, Come/Recall
  • Minor behavior issues
  • Jumping up
  • Mouthing, nipping
  • Counter surfing

Session = 90 minutes to 2 hours (most sessions last 2 hours)

Board and Train 2-3 Week Sessions

Our specialized, one-on-one attention is geared toward optimizing each  dog and situation.  Our unique approach to training and rehabilitation allows us to go further with your dog in less time and create the desired modifications and transformations .

We achieve amazing results by integrating the dog in a 24/7 program, which layers a balanced approach of Rules, Boundaries and Limitations.  This method begins to change the state of mind of the dog and in turn creates a happy, healthy, well balanced and obedient dog.

Once rules and manners are established, we move to real world situations and once earned… we play and learn how to play.

In the beginning all is structured.  When to eat, how to walk on lead, how to enter and exit thresholds, when to go relieve themselves (potty break), and training.

We begin with the basic commands – Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Place, Heel, Come/Recall, Out, Waiting for Food, Waiting at Thresholds as well as waiting to come out of the Crate .

In the board and train, we address many forms of unwanted behavior:

  • Dog-to-Dog Aggression ( may take 3 weeks or more)
  • Human Aggression (may take at least 3 weeks or more)
  • Food and/or Resource Guarding (out command)
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Severe Fear Issues
  • Reactivity On-Leash
